A delightful and airy strawberry cold foam made with cold heavy cream, freeze-dried strawberry powder, and a touch of vanilla. This easy-to-make milk topping adds a sweet, fruity flavor and a creamy texture to your iced beverages, perfect for enhancing lattes, cold brews, or any iced coffee drink.

Ingredients

Strawberry Cold Foam Ingredients

  • 30 ml heavy cream (cold)
  • 5 g freeze dried strawberries (powdered) or strawberry syrup
  • 15 ml whole milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 g powdered sugar (or to your taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place the cold heavy cream, freeze-dried strawberry powder (or strawberry syrup), whole milk (or non-dairy alternative), vanilla extract, and powdered sugar into a jar or container.
  2. Froth the Mixture: Use a handheld frother or whisk to vigorously mix until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, exhibiting soft peaks. This process incorporates air and blends the flavors well.
  3. Avoid Over-whipping: Stop frothing once soft peaks form to prevent the foam from becoming too stiff or turning into butter.
  4. Serve or Store: Use the strawberry cold foam immediately for best texture. Alternatively, cover and refrigerate it for up to one day, stirring gently before use.
  5. Top Your Drink: Spoon or pour the foam over your favorite iced coffee or iced drink and enjoy the creamy strawberry flavor.

Notes

  • Using freeze-dried strawberry powder gives a more natural strawberry flavor and vibrant color compared to syrups.
  • If you do not have a handheld frother, a whisk can be used but may require more effort to achieve soft peaks.
  • Ensure the heavy cream is cold for better frothing results.
  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of powdered sugar to suit your taste preference.
  • Suitable for topping iced coffee, cold brew, or even iced teas for a sweet twist.
